Using Crypto Currency in Vista Mundo
As founding members of the Costa Rica Crypto Council, The Vista Mundo Community accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum and many other digital currencies. You may use cryptocurrency for the following things:
- Lot purchase,
- Some aspects of home or business construction
- Fractional purchases of a casita or event space
- Event hosting
- Casita or event space rental
Because Costa Rica is not yet fully digital, there is a 7.5% surcharge to cover transfer costs should you wish to use crypto currency for rentals or fractional purchases. Surcharges on lot purchases or construction payments are a subject of negotiation with our developer and builder and typically require the buyer to take accountability for any decay in currency value within the period of transfer as a result of conversion to USD or Costa Rican Colones.
